The chapter was concerned that changes to MPR procedures in 2012-2013 had been rushed through without adequate faculty consultation and with deleterious effects on probationary tenure-stream faculty. We recommended that the Faculty Senate form a task force to determine if our concerns were indeed warranted, and to suggest remedies for those concerns.
