After conducting a Poll in Zoom, you may pull reports from the Zoom website. You can download a report of the poll results after the meeting. If 鈥渙nly authenticated users can join鈥 was enabled and the poll was not anonymous, it will list the participants' names and email addresses. If 鈥渙nly authenticated users can join鈥 was not enabled, it will show the results, but list the users as "Guest". If the poll was anonymous, it will show "anonymous" for the participants' names and email addresses.
How to Generate a Poll Report
- Log into
- Navigate to 鈥淩eports鈥

- Select your report type. In this case, we will select 鈥淢eeting鈥
- Set your search parameters. Follow these steps in order.
- Report Type: Select 鈥淧oll Report鈥
- Search by time range (or meeting ID): Select your date range (or type in your meeting ID)
- Click 鈥淪earch鈥
- Click 鈥淕enerate鈥 next to the meeting you want a report for.

- Clicking 鈥淕enerate鈥 will take you to the Report Queue page. Your request is processing.

- 鈥淧rocessing鈥 will change to 鈥淒ownload鈥 when the report is complete. Click 鈥淒ownload鈥 to download a CSV file with your results.
- Open this file in your desired spreadsheet program.
Why do I see "Guest" on my report?
If students join the Zoom meeting without logging in, their username will appear as 鈥淕uest.鈥 To get the username and email address of each participant, enable 鈥渙nly authenticated users can join鈥 in your meeting by following these steps:
- Log into .
- Navigate to Meetings.
- Edit this meeting. Note: If this is a recurring meeting, you may select 鈥淎ll鈥 in the following popup to edit all meetings

- Under 鈥淢eeting Options鈥 check 鈥淥nly authenticated users can join.鈥 You can limit it to everyone with Zoom accounts, or only those with an SCU email address.

- Save these changes.
